Cost & coverage FAQ
How do I know if my plan covers sessions?
Call the member-services number on your card and ask about outpatient mental health benefits with an LCSW, or reach out and Sarah will verify benefits before your first session.
What will I owe per session?
That depends on your plan: some have a flat copay, others apply a deductible and coinsurance. Sarah will give you an estimate once benefits are verified.
Do you accept HUSKY?
Yes, HUSKY Health / Connecticut Medicaid is accepted for standard sessions.
Why are intensives not covered by insurance?
Insurance reimburses standard-length psychotherapy sessions. Extended multi-hour formats fall outside those codes, so intensives are a private-pay service.
Do you offer a Good Faith Estimate?
Yes. Under the No Surprises Act, private-pay clients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before starting care. Just ask.
